This imposing art deco building set in the Town Hall Complex, is ideal for weddings, conferences, dinner dances, concerts, exhibitions and other major events. Its superb acoustics also make it one of the UK's top venues for recording classical music. With its separate bars, balcony, and ticket office.
The Assembly Hall is Walthamstow's premier venue, and as such is often booked years in advance! To give yourself a fair chance of securing the date you want, it really does pay to think ahead, and plan your function as early as possible.
The Antler Bar, which can be booked separately, is a cosy downstairs lounge, ideal for smaller meetings, presentations and dances. Not accessible for people in wheelchairs. As with all halls, you are welcome to come and have a look around before you make your choice. There are reserved parking spaces for blue (orange) badge holders.
The Antler bar is only available from Mon-Wed as a separate booking and Thur-Sun as part of the hall.
The Green room has limited use which needs to be agreed with Halls Manager
